Filming resumed today, but don't worry about waiting 'til Easter.
The new season will begin on the 8th of February with a massive 70 minute episode. HUZZAH!
From Josh Thomas' Twitter: "Tayg was incredible today. Insane. So exciting."
Looking forward to it!
So, here be the discussion thread for the third series of Australia's favourite panel game, Spicks and Specks.

Some promos I snagged while I was watching tonight's ep of GNW.
TAYG 2011 Indent - Sparkly dancing Shaun silhouette
TAYG 2011 Series Return Promo - I love a Shaun in uniform

I positively went apeshit with joy at the second promo. Partially because Shaun appears to have finally murdered Josh Thomas. -PPP

Tayg is just too awesome, using a wood chopper as a timer, military obstacle course...plus Shaun looks sooo delish in that uniform

An incredibly fun episode! I hope it maintains this level of insanity. The End Games won't be as big, I'm sure, but it's the little bits that Shaun does in between that count.
I might be going to a taping next week. Will report back, fellow soldiers of the Silver Fox. *long way up, short way down*

Good guests too! It's a shame that no one picked Trust Me - in the interest of good television? Please? -PPP

It's disappointing how scared they are of Trust Me now. Shaun was pretty generous with the points tonight that Gen X may as well have been playing for double. Maybe some more incentives.
Double points, and a banana! (They're $12/kg now!)

Back in the trenches with notes from TAYG HQ. Spoilers Ahoy!- Shaun's instrument of choice for tonight: Harmonica
- Kitty is back with more horrifying stories of POWER FLYING TURTLE. GREAT LASER POWER FROM SECRET UNDERSEA VOLCANO. POWER.
- Quick As + Dynamite = nothing destroyed
- Shaun + pickaxe = a damaged set
- He does a fantastic Michael Caine.
In front of the scenes:
- File under "Is It Fact Or Is It Crap?" - a passing comment that Shaun had a Logie melted down and made into a bracelet.
- Stewart the meerkat is actually alive (just very sedated) and is 100 years old.
- Shaun seems to be quite modest and downplaying his new project, again emphasising "It's just a pilot.". Unless we're more excited about it than he is ;D
- An audience member questioned Shaun's enthusiastic banana consumption. Fool. He was escorted to the parking lot and executed.
- Shaun practised his 2011 Logie rejection reactions, including flipping off the other nominees and slashing his wrists. So, uh... please vote.
- Some audience members were from Adelaide. Shaun commented on a Lion Park. "That's an in-joke for those in Adelaide." Probably explains the mention of the Free Lion Park! on the P(r)ogram(me) DVDs. Also mentioned he once worked in Animal Control around their suburb. (IIFOIIC? He seemed sincere about it.)
It was a delight to see him again, especially this time when his Fantasy Island suit wasn't blinding me.

That would be the second time Shaun has slipped on ice in tayg history. What are the odds? Lol at Josh going to hug Shaun. I loved the sock-balling end game, they looked pretty impressive all pegged up. But Shaun hanging himself at the end? Noo, Australian television needs you Shaun! hahaha

I was a little freaked out when Shaun started slipping on the ice, and those poles weren't the most stable thing to hold on to.
They gave him a little chisel for the ice thing, but Shaun preferred the more dramatic pickaxe. Then he put a hole in the floor.
Oh, before the show, I grabbed Shaun's new button press bumper:

Ye God Ugugu! That was a HILARIOUS episode - but I felt so incredibly sorry for Mona, getting 1/3rd nachoed. What a champion, the way she took it was just so admirable.
End game was, need I say, the best. Ever. Especially Josh getting dunked, so adorable.
And I really love how much of a gentleman Shaun was in tonight's episode, even though he did turn the wheel on Mona. Helping her put the ping pong balls in the car, that was so sweet.
Great episode. Really good stuff. -PPP

How awesome was that ep?! I loved endgame, Josh diving in the ball pool and hiding from Amanda's shovel haha. Shaun being a gentleman was extremely hot and sweet
