And now it's on tonight! 8.30pm, Channel 10.
... um, yeah, that's all I can add.

Lor, but it was cracking wasn't it?! Frank Ifield has rudely elbowed past Martin Fry & Christopher Walken to #2 in the all-time Micallef pop chart (Prevention still have the top, I can't see that changing).
Google alert for 'downpours' of this show has gone bananas-mental-haywire with a bullet. So I reckon a few people liked it...

Yeh I greatly enjoyed it. Shaun predictably was far funnier than Rove. He had some great gags, and "sang" a country song which surprisingly seemed to come off as hysterical to rove's typically low-brow TEN-subscribing, youthful audience. Perhaps they'll revolt against Rove in a push towards something better...Something smarter...Something Micallef! God how I wish intelligent, well-crafted comedy was more widely appreciated in this country.
Speaking of low-brow, Hughes undercut Shaun's gags a bit. It was a bit frustrating to watch... but nonetheless it was nice to see rove appreciating and laughing at Shaun's stuff.
Micallef would be a far better talkshow host... Saying that sentence feels a bit deja-vu
